Volunteers
There are different levels of commitment for volunteers in our program. We all have different gifts, and we want members to be able to volunteer where they feel they fit the best. One Year Commitment:
- Commit to events/classes for assigned group (Summit or Base Camp)
- Run some devotionals/smaller monthly events
- Attend student activities outside of church
- Mentorship
Teaching Commitment:
- Teach on Sunday mornings
- Commit to support yearly volunteers during assigned quarter
Event Host:
- Host monthly events
- Bring supplies
- Stay for events
- Support our other volunteers
Sherpa:
- 3 year commitment
- Same responsibilities as yearly volunteers just a higher level of commitment
- Must complete a year of commitment before graduating to this position
All levels of volunteer commitment will be required to come to an afternoon of training each fall with Hunter.
Volunteer Position Form
Safe Place Training - Required for ALL volunteers
High Pointe is a Safe Place for families. All employees and volunteers who work with children are required to attend a safety training session and provide information for a screening process. This training provides guidelines for safety procedures and classroom conduct. Safe Place Policy
The screening process includes completion of a Volunteer Application, Completion of the Safe Place Training and a background check.
