Welcome!

Helping our kids come to KNOW Jesus Christ, GROW to be like him, GO serve him.

Specifically, we believe that God has called us, in partnership with parents, to help our kids:

  • KNOW the word of God deeply and the Lord Jesus personally

  • GROW to be like Jesus and

  • GO serve in their homes, church, school, and community

First Time Here?

You will find a team of HP Kids Ministry volunteers waiting in East and West entries of the building to help you check in your children, Birth-5th grade. While you are there, we will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

You then receive a sticker with a matching number.  The matching numbered sticker is used as a security measure when children are picked up. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

The Check-In-Station opens 30 minutes prior to worship service (9:45AM).

Kids are dismissed from the worship center, after the kids offering, to their bible classes where they participate in hands on activities, storytelling,  small group discussion and singing.

Special Needs

Accommodations and modifications (headphones, sensory items, and fidget toys) are available for children with special needs.

Where Can I Find…

Infant Nursing Room
We have established a quiet private area where nursing mothers can feed their infants.  The area is located just inside the Nursery. It is equipped with rocking chairs, a fridge, and a changing table.

Changing Tables
Changing tables are located in all restrooms—both men’s and women’s—and the Infant Nursing Room.

Safety

How do I know my children will be safe?

High Pointe is a safe place for families.  All employees and volunteers who work with children are required to attend a safety training session and undergo a background screening process.  You can participate in Bible class and worship knowing your children are loved and secure.

Have other questions?

Please be sure to ask any of our volunteers or staff if you have questions, or you can email High Pointe.

Interested in Volunteering?

Your children’s minds and faith are developed through the love and guidance of volunteers! Volunteer positions include Sunday Bible Class Teachers, Nursery attendants, and Children’s Worship helpers.

If you would like to volunteer, contact HPkids@hp.church. The screening process includes completion of a Volunteer Application, Completion of the safety training and a background safety screening.

Safety Training
